The Secret World of Arrietty
The first thing about the Secret World of Arrietty that really impressed me is the super (almost obsessed like) attention to detail. Everything feels so believable and posible it felt like you were in the world with the characters. The animation is top notch. This is truly the best looking hand drawn animation you are going to find. The soundtrack is amazing as well. It is lighter on fantasy than most Ghibli films and it has some slow moments but it still has its family friendly appeal. Overall this is one of Studio Ghibli’s best films. It is up there with Spirited Away.
